What changed, release by release. Version 1 updates are included with every licence.

On sale

  • new Localdock went on sale: a one-time purchase, with the licence key shown on the download page right after checkout and emailed to the address you paid with.

1.1.7 — The day-one fixes

  • fixed Crash when switching on a public share for the first time — which, because the setting persisted, also killed the app on every launch after it. Rolled up from 1.1.1–1.1.7.
  • fixed Activating a licence mid-session now unlocks sharing immediately, without a relaunch.
  • improved An unactivated Mac opens straight to licence activation. The trial is gone — the app can't be downloaded without buying it, so a countdown only ever greeted a paying customer.
  • fixed Settings opens reliably from the panel.
  • fixed The Wi-Fi share QR code scans on a real iPhone — every variant is now decode-verified when the app is built.

1.1.0 — One name, three reaches

  • new The Reach control: This Mac, Wi-Fi, or Internet per project — one control with three cumulative rungs, replacing two separate share toggles.
  • new Public share links: a real HTTPS link anyone can open, with a secret key in the link. It expires after an hour and dies the moment you switch it off; traffic runs between your Mac and Cloudflare and never through our servers.
  • new Wi-Fi sharing: the project you named dashboard answers at dashboard.local for any device on your network — per-project, off by default, with a QR code in the row for the phone moment.
  • new Clean local URLs: dashboard.localhost with no port, served on port 80 without admin rights (7777 stays as the fallback when something else owns 80).
  • improved Everything sharing needs ships inside the app — cloudflared is bundled and signed with it, so there is nothing to install and no account to create.

1.0.6 — A real installer

  • new A notarized DMG with a proper drag-to-Applications window and the app icon — across 1.0.1–1.0.6.
  • new Your licence key appears on the download page right after purchase, and can be re-sent to your inbox any time from the Restore key page.
  • improved The key-recovery email is branded, readable, and labels each key by status.
  • fixed Download links no longer 404 — downloads resolve to the newest release automatically.

Running a release behind? The app checks for updates itself — or use “Check for updates…” in the panel menu. New here? Localdock gives every local project a real address.
